Praise in the Alps 2023

St. Peter’s, Château d’Oex, Sunday, 12 February 2023 at 17h30

Join us for a special and uplifting evening service led by Rev. David Hall as we celebrate the theme “Trusting God for the Future.” Experience the beautiful and harmonious sounds of Mary Hall on cello, the All Souls Orchestra of London, David Heath on piano, and our very own St. Peter’s Singers.

This musical celebration will take place on Sunday, February 12th at 5.30 PM. Whether you choose to attend in person, at St. Peter’s, or via Zoom, be sure to mark your calendars, invite friends and family, and join us for this special evening of worship and community.

We will be looking at Psalm 145 under the theme “Trusting God for the future”.  It’s one of two talks in a half-term mini-series, with “Praising God for the future” from Psalm 146 following with a service of Holy Communion  the next Sunday (19th) – also with live music. It will be wonderful to meet together, sing and be encouraged.  I always enjoy visiting my mother’s home village of Chateau-d’Oex and fellowshipping at St Peter’s opposite the shop where my grandfather was the village watchmaker during the War.  I look forward to seeing you there!
